Inside Jack’s Episode
In this special edition of WealthTech on Deck, Jack takes a turn in the guest chair to share some of the lessons learned and insights gained over 150 episodes of WealthTech on Deck. His conversation with LifeYield VP of Marketing and WealthTech on Deck Executive Producer, Matt Nollman, includes:
- The importance of multi-account, household-level management.
- Why minimizing taxes should be job #1 for advisors.
- The value of listening to what investors want from our industry.
- How we can learn from the few firms that are making organic growth happen.
- A discussion of how AI is changing wealth management (spoiler alert: it may not be how you expect).
What did Jack talk about?
Three key takeaways from Jack’s episode:
- According to Jack’s predictions, a unified managed household (UMH) approach to wealth management will become the industry standard within the next five years.
- Providing comprehensive portfolio level advice is the key to unlocking organic growth in the industry (growth that has been lacking in previous years).
- AI has the potential to cut down the amount of time advisors spend on research, data analysis, presentations, and reports—providing advisors with more time to focus on the people that they serve. Does the phrase “confluence of digital and human advice” come to mind for anyone else?
